The Flamingo is a classic Las Vegas hotel centrally located on the Strip. For convenience, there is also a monorail with many stops to accommodate your tourist spirit. Rooms face either the Strip or the famous Wildlife Habitat and pool area. The casino offers visitors a fun and unique way to experience slot machines and table games.

The hot pink historical facade of the Flamingo is hard to miss, and the reputation as one of the Strip’s hottest hotels is right on target. Located on the Strip near the Bellagio, the hotel towers over the lush gardens blooming behind it full of tropical birds, waterfalls, and swimming pools. Home to the famous Wildlife Habitat, the area is free for you to enjoy.

An enormous casino offers a laidback island environment as hot as the tropics! The casino features slots, table games, and a race and sportsbook.

If the casino is not hot enough for you, head to the X Burlesque show. Many other comedy and entertainment shows are also available for your amusement.

An array of restaurants such as Carlos ’n Charlie’s, Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse, and Margaritaville are there to tempt your appetite.

The Spa at Flamingo houses a fitness area and multiple treatment rooms to pamper you. It is a lush experience inside that mirrors the lush outdoors of the hotel.

Flamingo’s flashy-retro feel helps it live up to its reputation as a quintessential Las Vegas experience.

Spa/Salon: The Spa at the Flamingo is a luxurious respite from the hoopla of the Strip. Services include massages, tanning, saunas, steam rooms, and whirlpools. Beauty services are available next door at Uno Salon. Work up a sweat in the exercise and fitness areas adjacent to the treatment and relaxation rooms.

Pool: Several pools, including a children’s pool, are set in a 15-acre garden. The largest pool is connected to the smaller terraced pools by water slides. The lagoon pool features a triple waterfall with a swim-in grotto.

Pool-side cabanas are available for more privacy and a resort experience. The Wildlife Habitat is adjacent to the pool area and is home to more than 300 birds. It is an oasis within an oasis featuring lush foliage, streams, waterfalls, and bridges.

    - April 30, 2018

We have stayed at Flamingo 6 times in the last 5 years. Love it staff have all been wonderful rooms are very spacious and clean it?s on the centre of the strip. The habitat is beautiful the pools are beautiful highly recommend staying here

  2. Enjoyed It
    - October 15, 2015

We had a great time at the Flamingo. The location is great and the staff members are welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and large. I recommend staying here if you go to Vegas!

  3. Great location
    - June 24, 2015

My friends and I loved the central location to everything. The rooms are pretty basic and affordable, so its good for when you plan to stay out on the strip most of the time. They had the best pool. Its a plus when you have a view of the strip. The habitat for the birds was something cool to check-out too!

  4. very very nice!!!!
    - April 13, 2015

If you get a room looking at the strip you will be very pleased! This hotel has great pool nice restaurants. The people were so nice and will get u anything u ask for. Monorail stops at hotel. Perfect place on the strip. Can get to any other casino fast but Flamingo casino you don’t have to deal with the big crowds. Rooms are very clean. The GO room are so nice! I will stay here whenever I can!

  5. average
    - May 13, 2014

The room I stayed in was average at best however the pool was great! One of the better pool areas I’ve been to in Vegas.

  6. best deal on the strip
    - April 10, 2014

Heading back soon for our third stay here. Cheapest room in the center of everything, THE BEST pool, wonderful housekeepers. Yes, it’s older and you’ll see signs of wear, and at times the staff has trouble keeping up with the messes people make, but you just can’t beat this place. Be prepared for long check in line, but this happens plenty of other places as well. Monorail stop is right at the hotel. Just wish they’d get a Starbucks!

  7. Great Place
    - March 7, 2014

Had a wonderful stay. Room was great. Only two problems getting stopped 30 times a day by people trying to sign you up time shares and you have to walk two blocks through construction to catch the shuttle back to the airport.

  8. Would stay again
    - March 5, 2014

I love that it’s on the middle of the strip. The flamingos were a great thing to see, took lots of pics. We first got a Mini suit, wasn’t impressed, very old and boring view of construction, moved to a Go Room the next morning .. LOVED it! Had a great view of Caesars palace and was able to see the fountain show from our window. Buffet was awesome too! Good place to stay for an affordable price.

  9. extra charges
    - October 7, 2013

Good place to stay. Be aware they will charge you an extra $20 a day for resort fees for Internet and fitness center. Who has time for either when there is so much to see.

  10. Mixed Feelings
    - September 11, 2013

The room I stayed in had an incredible decor and I really enjoyed the modern feel and spacious design. However the view is not the best, you mostly see other wing of the hotel. The TV is Very Small considering the size of the room. The bathroom was not clean, the tub and the toilet were both gross. I don’t think my room was cleaned properly.

  11. Yes or no?
    - July 7, 2013

Rooms were dirty when we came in. Cleaning lady was the only nice one. Staff was mean. And there’s mold in the shower. We asked to move again and girl gave us attitude. It got better.

  12. favorite place to stay
    - April 1, 2013

We stay here every year. Pros are the pool and location, cons are that not all rooms are updated yet so there’s a chance you’ll get an older room…but who spends their time in the room in Vegas anyway:)

  13. Where to begin?
    - February 18, 2013

To check-in there was a very long line, we waited for about 20 minutes or longer, did not time it. Heading towards the room there was a line to access the elevator. I did not like the fact that on the hallway of the rooms we passed by trash, dirty towels, and dirty sheets on the floor. This was not the only time we saw this, we saw this every night we stayed. But for the maintenance of the room overall was, rating from 1 to 10, I would give the room a 10. The room was very clean and modern.

  14. A total steal!
    - January 11, 2013

In the middle of the strip, perfect location… Great prices for nice rooms with views!

  15. Best value on the strip
    - December 20, 2012

Great place to stay. Clean, right in the middle of the strip, and inexpensive (relatively speaking). this will be the first place I check on for my next trip to Vegas. If there was one negative, is that the check in/out process can be a little long.

  16. awesome room with a view
    - August 30, 2012

King size pillow top bed large flat screen surround sound frig coffee maker tv in bathroom mirror clean. Refreshing defiantly will be returning very soon pool was great too waterfall great service lounge bed to sun bathe.

  17. Love.
    - August 19, 2012

Checked in on a Friday night and it took over an hour at midnight. There were only 2 people checking in a line of 50 or more customers and was absurdly slow. However, they put is in a strip view room for waiting and ever since then, it has been a more than pleasant experience. The room is cleaner and better than the one I paid much more for recently at The Venetian. I would absolutely, 100% without a doubt stay here again. We got a “go” room and couldn’t be happier with it. My only reason for 4 stars was the check in time. Otherwise it would have been a 5.

  18. been coming here for 3 years
    - August 10, 2012

My wife and I would only stay at this hotel over past 3 years. Go room only. Had a deluxe room once at New Years and was not impressed. Cleaning maids always nice to help you. A good 3.5 star hotel. Clean

  19. great rooms, slow service
    - August 5, 2012

My family and I went to Vegas in oct of 2011. When we got there check in was pretty quick but that was the only service at the hotel that was fast. Take plenty of clothes Bc the wait for dry cleaning is not worth it! However I loved the room, the view, and in general the hotel.

  20. teralyn
    - July 17, 2012

My family enjoyed this resort, overall. It’s very pleasant, clean

  21. Great location thats' about it.
    - September 24, 2011

The location of this hotel is the highlight of it. The rooms are just average. This hotel is old and it shows. Wont ever go back.

  22. Dirty!
    - July 20, 2011

Well for the location, it is awesome. As for the cleanliness, it was dirty. Our carpet had cigarette burns in it. ( non smoking room). The shower had mold. Luckily we only had a one night stay here. No desire to go back even for the cheap rates and great location.

  23. Ask for a go room
    - June 8, 2011

We were upgraded to a go room. It was recently remolded. The room was small, but it was clean. We are not ones to stay in the room so this was perfect for us. The location is ideal. The monorail is close by. So many things are in walking distance also. For the money, it is worth another stay.
