The idea of donating leftover change from slot machine tickets isn’t new but it’s long overdue on the Vegas Strip. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas recently announced a new charitable giving offering. This platform is now available on all 12 ticket redemption machines on the casino floor.
As we recently discussed, most of the Las Vegas Strip casinos have updated their players clubs to be overall loyalty clubs for their customers. These newer loyalty programs reward customers for money spent throughout the casino and resort. The players club model only rewards players or gamblers.

Westgate Las Vegas recently upgraded their players club. The new WOW Rewards is more of a traditional loyalty program than the slot club it used to be. The new tiered customer loyalty program will reward guests for playing their favorite slots, table games, and sports bets. The new loyalty club will also reward for retail purchases and dining at one of the many restaurants at Westgate Las Vegas.
Last summer I spent a week at Planet Hollywood on the Vegas Strip. This trip was the first time I noticed Lightning Link slot machines. There was a small bank of four machines near Earl of Sandwich.
