Super Bowl weekend is still the busiest sports weekend in Las Vegas but it’s only one game on one day. March Madness may be overtaking Super Bowl weekend with 16 games on the first two days (March 20 & 21) and 8 more games on March 22 and 23. 48 basketball games in two days is intense and sportsbooks overflow with people. If you’re thinking about visiting Las Vegas between March 20 and 23 you might want to book your hotel rooms now. Room rates are already high.
If you prefer music to sports you might be excited with some music news this week in Las Vegas. The Life Is Beautiful festival set its dates for this year. The music, art, food festival will take place October 24-26 in Downtown Vegas. If you’re remotely interested in going to the festival you might want to put a Downtown Vegas hotel room on hold now. Parking for the event was $40 last year so getting a hotel room close to the festival may be the most economical way to enjoy the weekend.

When you’re hanging out on the Vegas Strip do you ever have a hankering to see a movie? Well, you may have that opportunity soon. Bobby’s Burger Palace opened this week at Mandarin Oriental. BBB is Bobby Flay’s burger chain with restaurants all over the country.
