Resorts World Las Vegas continues to come together. The casino-resort on the north end of the Vegas Strip is still on schedule to open this summer. In the meantime, the company keeps releasing new information about the property. The last batch of news about Resorts World is two bars and lounges. Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge is a brand new concept. Wally’s Wine may be a brand familiar to some visitors familiar with locations in California. As you’d imagine the Las Vegas location will be a bit different.
When Resorts World was originally introduced, the plan was for the property to be an affordable family destination. A lot has changed since the first plans were announced for the property. It appears as though Resorts World will cater to all budgets.
We first got a hint of this when Resorts World announced a partnership with Hilton. The property will have three different Hilton brands including the luxury Conrad brand and ultra-exclusive LXR brand.
While there should be more affordable bars and lounges, the first two announced sound a bit fancy.
Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge
Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge will be an upscale venue that offers rare adult beverages not found at all Las Vegas bars. The topline feature here is that Gatsby’s will have vintage and rare champagnes, artisanal cocktails, and aromatic wines.
This is another bar created by Clique Hospitality. This company operates bars and restaurants from the Vegas Strip to Henderson and Red Rock.
Gatsby’s is being created to be a senses-stimulating experience that’s smart and sophisticated. The 4,090-square-foot cocktail lounge will be located just odd the casino floor in the heart of Resorts World. The lounge will feature a 360-degree bar, spacious couches and high-top tables. Music will come from an evolving soundtrack and DJ sets.
“Gatsby’s is about to up the ante for Las Vegas lounges,” said John Pettei, Managing Partner. “Attention to detail is our calling card – from the thoughtful cocktail program and vast champagne selection to the lounge’s beautiful design and spirited ambiance.”
Wally’s Wine is one of Southern California’s iconic wine and dining destinations. The location coming to Resorts World will be a blend of restaurant, wine bar, and specialty gourmet market. Similar to Eataly at Park MGM, this will create a one-stop tasting and shopping experience.
“At Resorts World Las Vegas, we hope to bring an unmatched culinary lineup to Las Vegas, including concepts new to the Strip, and we could not be more thrilled to be home to the first location of Wally’s Wine outside of Southern California,” said Scott Sibella, President of Resorts World Las Vegas. “With their unique concept and expertly curated, high-quality wine products from all over the world, we know Wally’s Wine & Spirits Las Vegas will quickly become a new staple in this city.”
At its heart, Wally’s is still a wine venue. Wally’s Las Vegas location will offer over 125 wines by the glass. Altogether, Wally’s will feature over 8,000 labels of wine, spirits, beer and specialty gourmet food items from around the globe. Guests can buy goods to go or enjoy them inside the casino.
