This isn’t another Vegas is back(!) blog post. Technically all entertainment news in Las Vegas can be considered “Vegas is back” but that’s another story. During the second quarter and into July just about every hotel increased room occupancy. Hotel rooms at the Vegas Strip casinos were more than 90% full from Friday through Sunday.
Casinos can increase the amount of entertainment available knowing that there will be people in town. Park MGM is bringing the heat with a wide variety of performances. The casino is hosting everything from stand-up comedy to country music throughout the rest of the year.

There’s been so much demand to see Bruno Mars residency at the Park Theater that he keeps adding shows. The early August performances were not part of the original residency dates. The late August shows are rescheduled shows from earlier this year.
Dates for the Bruno Mars residency are added fairly often. Keep your eyes peeled for announcements after these show dates.
The trumpeter and singer will perform Brian Newman: AFTER DARK at NoMad Las Vegas in late August. His name should be familiar for frequent visitors to Las Vegas. Newman was previously the bandleader for the Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano resident shows at Park Theater.
All AFTER DARK shows are scheduled to begin at 11:30 p.m.
Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, there were plans for an eight-show Jonas Brothers residency at the Park Theater. That was canceled last year but the group will finally play some shows in Las Vegas. The Jonas Brothers will stop at the Park Theater for two shows on the “Remember This” tour.
There’s no word yet if the Jonas Brothers will reconsider a Las Vegas residency in the future.
This is just a single show from Bert Kreischer’s “The Berty Boy Relapse Tour”. Variety is the spice of life. It’s nice to see such a wide variety of entertainment coming to Park MGM. The show will take place at the Park Theater like most others listed.
Dec. 9, 10 & 11
Three-time ACM “Entertainer of the Year” and ACM Artist of the Decade Jason Aldean is returning to Park Theater at Park MGM in 2021 for “Back in the Saddle: Las Vegas 2021,” a three-night engagement on December 9, 10, and 11.
The shows are happening at the perfect time for country music fans. The NFR (National Finals Rodeo) begins a week earlier and there will be plenty of cowboys and cowgirls in Las Vegas for the fun.
On The Record
Shows aren’t the only entertainment at Park MGM. On The Record is the 11,000-square-foot speakeasy and club at Park MGM.
On The Record has a functioning record store entry with a large vinyl collection available for purchase. There are also indoor and outdoor spaces, a double-decker bus DJ booth and patio bar, and three hidden karaoke break rooms are among the venue’s unique features.
There’s also an intimate Vinyl Parlor hidden speakeasy. This lounge features special guest “Star-tenders” (Bartenders-in-Residence) that offer a world-class cocktail program.
This is more than just a dance club and an excellent option if you want to keep the party going at Park MGM after the big shows above.
