Palms is currently in the middle of a massive $690 million renovation. Just about every part of the casino will see an update. There are already new additions to the casino resort just off the Vegas Strip. The makeover started on the casino floor which has new carpeting, lights, and a sweet new center bar. Additionally, there are new restaurants with more on the way this year.
Rain Nightclub was the place to be when Palms was most popular. When Station Casinos purchased Palms they decided to close Rain and create a new nightlife destination. What they’ve created is something much grander.
KAOS will replace Rain later this year and take entertainment at Palms to a new level. The new club will have a dayclub that connects into the nightclub for indoor and outdoor partying day and night.
It’s KAOS At Palms!
KAOS will open In early April. The new entertainment experience will consist of a fully integrated 73,000 square foot dayclub and 29,000 square foot nightclub. Station Casinos expects that this combination will redefine the daylife and nightlife experience in Las Vegas.
KAOS isn’t reinventing the wheel but they’re taking daylife and nightlife to another level. The connected indoor-outdoor club concept has become very popular at Drai’s inside and Drai’s Beachclub outside of The Cromwell.
KAOS will feature exclusive residencies with world-renowned musical artists such as Cardi B, G Easy, Above & Beyond, Kaskade, and Las Vegas favorite Skrillex. More headliner residency announcements will follow as the opening date draws nearer.
The multi-level 73,000 square foot dayclub will feature two main pools, numerous side pools, and 39 unique cabanas. Most of the cabanas will have their own private pool.
The focal point of the dayclub will be a massive 65-foot bronze sculpture by Damien Hirst entitled “Demon with Bowl.” The instagramable sculpture will rise up from the center of one of the two main pools for a memorable experience.
KAOS will blend the nightclub and dayclub experiences with a massive retractable glass wall. This will allow clubgoers to easily move between the indoor and outdoor venues. In addition, the nightclub has a rotating 360-degree DJ booth that allows talent to play to both indoor and outdoor crowds. The nightclub will have a separate stage inside for performers.
The indoor nightclub was conceived by the nationally acclaimed design firm Rockwell Group. The 29,000 square foot nightclub will feature an opulent theme merged with state-of-the-art technology to create a dynamic, luxurious and production-rich environment.
The choreography and circulation inside KAOS will lead guests to the theater-like club. The inspiration for this idea was drawn from a modern playhouse with art and architecture working hand-in-hand to create an ever-evolving experience.
A few words from Palms
“The opening of KAOS is a cornerstone element in our plan to return PALMS to its rightful status as the premier gaming and entertainment destination in Las Vegas for both residents and tourists alike,” said Jon Gray, General Manager of PALMS.
“To assist us in that effort, we have assembled a world-class operations team, partnered with the biggest names across a variety of music genres, and designed and developed a next-level entertainment experience that will change the club landscape across the globe.”
