Las Vegas pool season is the real deal. There are experiences for every person, mood, and age. We recently highlighted the Las Vegas dayclubs and pool parties opening for the 2021 pool season. Today we’re going to look at the pools for everyone to enjoy at the different MGM Resorts Las Vegas properties. Altogether there are more than 10 different pool environments at properties that fall under the M Life Rewards loyalty program.

“While people go to D.C. for cherry blossom season and Colorado for ski season, travelers come from all over the world to be a part of the Vegas pool season,” said Ari Kastrati, Chief Hospitality Officer at MGM Resorts International. “The city is known for its hot summer weather and its cool pool environments. Our teams are ready to help guests escape and enjoy a much-needed respite.”

I like to focus on MGM Resorts pools because no other Las Vegas hotel company has the same variety.

The massive Mandalay Bay Beach complex is 11 acres large. It includes a lazy river, wave pool and an actual beach. MGM Grand has another lazy river for the family and also one of the most popular dayclubs for anyone 21 and older.

These hotels have thousands of hotel rooms. The resort pools can get busy because so many people stay in the main hotel towers.

One of the neat features for MGM Resorts pools are the hotels within the hotels. For example, visitors can stay at Delano or Four Seasons at Mandalay Bay where they will have a quieter pool experience. These guests can also choose the big beach complex.

Mandalay Bay isn’t the only MGM Resorts property with this option. Guests who book a room at the Aria Sky Suites also have access to a private pool experience from the rest of Aria.

Different Experiences At MGM Resorts Pools

Here are some different pool environments you’ll find at MGM Resorts Las Vegas properties.

Bellagio – This Mediterranean pool invites guests to a take soothing dip in refreshing azure waters. This complex has spas, a garden vista café, an adults-only pool, and massage treatments.

Aria – The lavish poolscape provides one of the most spacious and tranquil pools on The Strip. The Sky Pool is exclusive to Aria Sky Suites guests. Lastly, Aria is home to the Liquid Pool Lounge for a 21+ pool experience.

Vdara – The Pool & Cabanas at Vdara is a calming rooftop getaway. The pool offers private retreats and cabanas with semi-private plunge pools. Guests can enjoy the waterscape surrounded by views of the neighboring Aria architecture.

MGM Grand – MGM Grand has a legendary 6.5 acres of waterside fun. The huge pool complex features four swimming pools, three whirlpools, cascading waterfalls, and a lazy river. Guests 21+ can also enjoy the Wet Republic Ultra Pool.

Mandalay Bay – The ultimate pool experience awaits at Mandalay Bay Beach. Consider this an 11-acre aquatic playground. Beach lovers can enjoy the tides in a wave pool, flow with the Lazy River, lounge in a lagoon, and explore the tropic wonderland.

Delano – Delano Beach Club delivers personalized services synonymous with the boutique hotel. The secluded pool has playful amenities like a submerged chessboard.

Four Seasons – This pool features the ultimate in luxury and pampering. Guests can relax in luxury and privacy while enjoying light poolside fare and complimentary hourly amenities such as frozen fruit skewers and refreshing smoothies.

The Mirage – The pools are set in a tropical environment surrounded by waterfalls and lush foliage. Beginning mid-March, guests 21+ can sunbathe at Bare Pool Lounge for an exclusive adult alternative pool experience.

Park MGM – The Park MGM Pool is designed consistently with the rest of the property. Similar to the vibe at Primrose, this pool delivers the peacefulness found within a European country estate’s secret garden.

New York-New York – This smoke-free and intimate pool deck atmosphere offers food and libations from the Boatside Bar and America Restaurant.

Luxor – The Oasis Pool at Luxor has four pools and four whirlpools on one of the largest pool decks in Las Vegas. Daybeds, VIP chairs, and shaded cabanas provide relaxation for guests looking to lounge the day away poolside.

Excalibur – As you’d imagine, the pool at Excalibur is fit for royalty! The surprisingly large complex has four pools that offer a variety of experiences including a water slide for the kids and cabanas.

MGM Resorts has been using a seven-point health and safety plan since reopening its properties. This extends to the pool areas which will abide by all Nevada social distancing and health requirements. You can see rates for cabanas and chairs at MGM Resorts Las Vegas pools here.
