The Bellagio fountain show is one of the best free attractions in Las Vegas. If you’ve been reading this blog, you know that this isn’t a new opinion. The shows are just beautiful to watch. Even more amazing is that this is what people see walking by a casino. This is truly stunning and never gets old thanks to the frequency of shows and number of songs in rotation.
MGM Resorts doesn’t hold anything back when it comes to the fountain show at Bellagio. During the week the fountain show is every 30 minutes from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. After the sun goes down, the fountain show is every 15 minutes from 8:00 PM to midnight.
The Bellagio fountain show runs even more frequently on the weekend. The fountain show takes place every 30 minutes from noon to 8:00 PM. The show is every 15 minutes from 8:00 PM to midnight. The Bellagio fountain show happens so frequently that it’s difficult to miss – especially at night.
The spectacular shows feature more than 1,200 dancing fountains on a lake of more than 8.5 acres of water. The highest point the fountains will reach is 460 feet. The fountains are spread out by more than 1,000 feet.
More Than 20 Songs
What makes the experience special is that the fountains are programmed for different songs throughout the day. In fact, the Bellagio fountain show has a music catalog of more than 20 songs.
The schedule isn’t the same every day so it’s possible to catch different songs. To that point, I’ve probably heard “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion in every time slot possible. MGM Resorts continues to update the playlist with resident artists like Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga who each have shows at the Park Theater inside of Park MGM.
