One of the signs that Las Vegas is returning to the city it was in 2019 is the return of large gatherings. Las Vegas is traditionally home to many conferences, conventions, and a variety of events. While a car auction isn’t huge like the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the Barrett-Jackson auction is a mainstay for auto enthusiasts from around the country. After skipping a year at Mandalay Bay, Barrett-Jackson is returning to Las Vegas. This year, the auction is on the move just off the Vegas Strip.
The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auction
Barrett-Jackson considers itself “The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auction.” The car show and auction will take place at the West Hall of the recently expanded and upgraded Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) from June 17-19, 2021.
“Moving our Las Vegas Auction to the newly expanded LVCC is an exciting new chapter in the history of our company and the collector car hobby,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “The extraordinary new West Hall is the perfect venue for our three-day collector car auction. It offers the perfect blend of ample indoor and outdoor space with the latest technology that complements our commitment to the health and safety of our guests.”
This may be the first event to move to the newly updated LVCC but it won’t be the last.
“As the recognized leader in collector car auctions and automotive lifestyle events, Barrett-Jackson is a noteworthy addition to Las Vegas’ 2021 calendar of events,” said Las Vegas Events President Pat Christenson.
He continued saying, “After the inability to host the event in 2020, we are especially excited for the relaunch of the event in Las Vegas that features a new date and a new location at the state-of-the-art West Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The full Barrett-Jackson experience combined with these new elements will make this a must-see event, now and in the future.”
At the time of the writing of this blog post, Las Vegas is one of two cities hosting a Barrett-Jackson auction in 2021. A list of automobiles available at this auction will be released shortly. There are two auctions taking place when Barrett-Jackson reaches Las Vegas this summer.
Barrett-Jackson Automobilia Auction
The Barrett-Jackson Automobilia Auction offers a variety of some of the rarest one-of-a-kind automotive collectibles. This auction includes dealership signs, hood mascots, and a variety of transportation toys. This includes gas pumps, racing posters, and garage relics.
The main auto auction might be a bit rich for some. The Automobilia auction should have something affordable for all car part collectors.
All of the authentic automotive items here are all sold at No Reserve to the highest bidder regardless of the bid price. Visitors may preview all lots in the Automobilia area adjacent to the main auction stage.
