The Global Gaming Expo (AKA G2E) was just in Las Vegas. This is an annual gathering for the casino business. There’s a lot happening throughout the week but the most interesting part of the conference takes place on the expo floor. This is where casino game manufacturers show off their newest products.
Slot machines occupy much of the casino floor and they dominate space on the expo floor at G2E. The games on display are being demoed or shopped to casino operators for placement in casinos. Themed penny slot machines are among the most popular games in casinos. That’s what I want to look at today.
The G2E show is a preview for media as much as it’s a tool to get games into casinos. I cherry picked the games that I’m fairly positive that we’ll see on the casino floor at some point in the future. There will be slot machines like the Big Lebowski that are hitting casino floors as I write this. Other games like (the amazing) Ghostbusters 4D won’t see casinos until late next year.
These 18 slot machines won’t be the only new games you’ll see on casino floors in 2017 and 2018. However, these are the themed games I’m nearly positive you’ll see at some point. Keep an eye open!
