The National Atomic Testing Museum has a collection of over 12,000 artifacts in exhibits that present the history of the development and testing of the nuclear bomb.  In addition, there are a number of temporary exhibits that are educational and fun. In the GZ Theater, you can experience a simulated atmospheric bomb blast and learn how to survive an atomic blast.

The new exhibit “Area 51” reveals the myths and evidence surrounding Area 51 and lets you make your own determination if it is real or fiction.

Plan for your visit to take about 2 – 4 hours.

$22 admission includes Area 51 exhibit also, Family Pak $65 for 2 adults and up to 3 kids under 17; children under 7 are free.

    Even from the outside, it looks like an atomic energy facility. We learned a lot about the actual history. There were pictures, visual displays, films, and more. It was fantastic. If you go here, you won’t be disappointed.
