Bootleg Canyon Flightlines

The newest and most eco-friendly way to see Nevada’s mountainous terrain. Glide on a series of four ziplines from the top of the Red Mountains to the base at speeds up to 60 mph. Flightlines are similar to ziplines, but you are comfortably sitting in a para-gliding harness as you fly through the air. You are given a brief orientation and safety class and then groups of 12 are shuttled to the mountaintop where you hike about 1/2 mile to first line. Experienced guides assist you along the 1.5 mile trip to the bottom. The last leg is over 1/2 mile of zipping! The spectacular views include Lake Mead, Boulder City, the Eldorado Valley and beautiful wildlife. A complimentary shuttle from the Excalibur Hotel is available for the ride from the Strip. Flightline weight limits for safety reasons are 75 – 250 lbs. All ages are encouraged, but children under 12 are not recommended.
