Show Times: Fridays and Saturdays 9:00 p.m. Select Dates.
Blackout Dates: None
Performing select dates at the Venetian Las Vegas throughout the second half of 2011, David Spade delivers his personal brand of stand-up comedy with the same quick wit and sarcasm that gained him national attention for his fan-favorite sketches on “Saturday Night Live,” in addition to hilarious performances assuming memorable comedic roles in movies like “Tommy Boy” and “Joe Dirt”.
The setting for the evening is immediately set once Spade walks onto the stage at the Venetian Showroom. His dress is very casual, usually consisting of a t-shirt and jeans along with an accessory baseball cap. The mood is very informal and relaxing as opposed to other shows that can sometimes leave an audience feeling intimidated by the performer and their surroundings.
Spade’s material during his set draws from memorable life experiences with moments of ridicule and self-deprecation to enhance the laugh factor. He likes to make subtle changes to keep things new so that he doesn’t get stuck in a rut performing the same routine each night. At often times Spade pokes fun at Las Vegas culture and stereotypes which is sure to please audiences and have them taking note of his humorous observations during the remainder of their stay in Sin City.

David has some good stuff and we laughed. But was he doing Vegas to make extra money in a short time then leave just as fast for LA. I would sadly not pay the money asking for his tickets for a brief moment of entertainment. Better to go see talent that enjoys working on stage and not look lazy doing it.
David Spade no doubt is a funny guy. His show started late. There was an opening act. The guy was funny, but we paid to see David. Davids routine was good, but he was only on stage for 45 minutes. We did laugh, but we were disappointed he didnt perform that long.
I have never seen a comedian use cue cards before.. but David Spade had to rely on cheats for his jokes. Really? LIke you cant memorize them? His jokes were funny, but it takes the fun out of it when it isnt a natural reaction. The comic before him was funny and he did the act all by himself!! The only lasted 45 min, so it was an early night out for us.
