The Orleans is where Sin City meets the Big Easy. Mardi Gras masks and bright colors greet you as do the alligator shaped door pulls. You can dine at Big Al’s Oyster Bar, Canal Street or the Prime Rib Loft to get a feel and taste of New Orleans. Entertainment is legendary at the Orleans Showroom and Orleans Arena and has included such acts as Frankie Avalon, Charlie Daniels and Lee Ann Womack. The minor league hockey team, the Wranglers, calls the Arena home ice so be sure to take in a game! For a feel of the French Quarter, stop in the Bourbon Street Cabaret for live entertainment or drop into Brendan’s Irish Pub for a pint or two. The 24 hour bowling alley is a great place to take the kids as is the on-site 18 screen movie theater.
Drop the kids at the childcare center, Kids Tyme and head to the casino for a night at the generous slots, video poker and keno machines, or try your luck at the table games. The Orleans is only a mile form the Strip with a convenient shuttle to sister hotels and the Strip every 30 minutes until 1 am. Looking for a fun casino? the Orleans is our favorite. The staff is extra friendly. There are all different priced tables and slots. Always a great time to be had here!
We were looking for a cheaper hotel. The Orleans was perfect for us. Our room was fine. The pool was great to spend the day at. We were happy to be able to eat at the pool. The coffee shop was great too. Best part was the casino. Better time here than at the bigger swankier hotels/ casinos.
