I really liked the price rates at this hotel. I stayed with two of my friends and we enjoyed it mostly. We had nice meals and a fun time at the casino. The location is very close to the strip so we were happy about that. We would stay here again.
Harrah’s is a great value for a stay on the strip, especially if you want to be close to everything. Get the $44 buffet pass, its good for 24 hours and you can go to six different hotels and try their buffets. Its no frills, but pretty comfortable. Good hotel when you plan on being out and about all week.
The room was cheap. Hot every time u come back to room cause ac cuts off when ur not in room. The casino is very smokey and restaurants are not that great. Roulette wheel and tables are very old. It’s just an old and cheap hotel so if u can stay somewhere else you will have a better time. The Flamingo is a lot better!
What a nice hotel. Had a 2 room suite on the 31st floor. Good view of the strip. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Stayed 9-22 to 9-29 2013. Will stay there again.
I was pleased with this room! We stayed in the Mardi Gras Tower – it was nothing special but it had everything we needed in a room! It has lots of pillows so I slept well! We had a TV in the bathroom but we never used it. The water pressure in the shower was great and we always had fresh towels. This was also decently priced for a Vegas room.
I stayed here with my mother and this was horrible!!!! The carpet was nasty and I tripped on several different pieces in different areas of the hotel. It is dark and miserable throughout the entire hotel. There is nothing positive about this stay other than I was on the strip. Our stay was in 2011.
We’ve been staying here since realizing it was comparable to the big hotels across the street. Great, central location. Short walk to lots of great casinos. Bit of a walk to the nearest bus stop. A/c should be better. Love the oyster bar and KGB. On the monorail line. Cheap rooms. Will be back.
Stayed with my son in November 2010. Was not happy with the room. I felt like it was 1980. And the smell of rotten eggs when I turned on the water taps turned me off. Good thing my son and I had no plans to stay in both nights. Better of staying at the Flamingo instead. The casino in the mornings very smoky smell.
Can’t beat the price and right at the heart of Vegas. Our only issue was the AC coming on every two minutes. Come back in the room and it’s like 80 in the room because its motion activated. Other than the AC issues, no complaints here.
As far as location goes, Harrahs is perfect. Our room was just okay, nothing specia or flashy. For the price is was just right. If you want swank, then stay elsewhere. The casino was easy to navigate. The strip was easy to get to from our room. We had fun at the bars, and the casino. We did notice when in our room, you could hear the people above us and beside us. . Luckily we were not in our room much.
for 35 dollars a night, this place was great. Our room had a view of the Mirage, very cool at night! We really liked the Carnival court area. Just neat to people watch!! Had lunch at Toby Keiths. We really enjoyed our meal. The location of this hotel is awesome, right on the strip and so easy to get to the other hotels. The monorail was right there also.
