The hot pink historical facade of the Flamingo is hard to miss and the reputation as one of the Strip’s hottest hotels is right on target. Centrally located on the Strip near the Bellagio, the hotel towers over the lush gardens blooming behind it full of tropical birds, waterfalls and swimming pools. We stay here every year. Pros are the pool and location, cons are that not all rooms are updated yet so there’s a chance you’ll get an older room…but who spends their time in the room in Vegas anyway:)
To check-in there was a very long line, we waited for about 20 minutes or longer, did not time it. Heading towards the room there was a line to access the elevator. I did not like the fact that on the hallway of the rooms we passed by trash, dirty towels, and dirty sheets on the floor. This was not the only time we saw this, we saw this every night we stayed. But for the maintenance of the room overall was, rating from 1 to 10, I would give the room a 10. The room was very clean and modern.
In the middle of the strip, perfect location… Great prices for nice rooms with views!
Great place to stay. Clean, right in the middle of the strip, and inexpensive (relatively speaking). this will be the first place I check on for my next trip to Vegas. If there was one negative, is that the check in/out process can be a little long.
King size pillow top bed large flat screen surround sound frig coffee maker tv in bathroom mirror clean. Refreshing defiantly will be returning very soon pool was great too waterfall great service lounge bed to sun bathe.
Checked in on a Friday night and it took over an hour at midnight. There were only 2 people checking in a line of 50 or more customers and was absurdly slow. However, they put is in a strip view room for waiting and ever since then, it has been a more than pleasant experience. The room is cleaner and better than the one I paid much more for recently at The Venetian. I would absolutely, 100% without a doubt stay here again. We got a “go” room and couldn’t be happier with it. My only reason for 4 stars was the check in time. Otherwise it would have been a 5.
My wife and I would only stay at this hotel over past 3 years. Go room only. Had a deluxe room once at New Years and was not impressed. Cleaning maids always nice to help you. A good 3.5 star hotel. Clean
My family and I went to Vegas in oct of 2011. When we got there check in was pretty quick but that was the only service at the hotel that was fast. Take plenty of clothes Bc the wait for dry cleaning is not worth it! However I loved the room, the view, and in general the hotel.
My family enjoyed this resort, overall. It’s very pleasant, clean
The location of this hotel is the highlight of it. The rooms are just average. This hotel is old and it shows. Wont ever go back.
Well for the location, it is awesome. As for the cleanliness, it was dirty. Our carpet had cigarette burns in it. ( non smoking room). The shower had mold. Luckily we only had a one night stay here. No desire to go back even for the cheap rates and great location.
We were upgraded to a go room. It was recently remolded. The room was small, but it was clean. We are not ones to stay in the room so this was perfect for us. The location is ideal. The monorail is close by. So many things are in walking distance also. For the money, it is worth another stay.
