Chef Sirio Maccioni, of New York’s Le Cirque, is at his best with his newest endeavor, Sirio Ristorante, which offers Tuscan Italian dishes inspired by those his grandmother used to make. Old-time Italy is reflected in the myriad homemade pastas, osso buco, and veal milanese, while newer more extravagant Italian fusions are also available. The wine list is extensive and heavy on Italian varietals, but experienced sommeliers can guide you with your selections. Entering the dining room is like stepping in to a Fellini film, a bit of fantasy and elegant opulence with the hospitality of the experienced waitstaff to make you feel right at home. You may order a la carte or you may choose from two different tasting menus which change seasonally. You can even build your own antipasti platter from a selection of cheeses, meats and appetizers.
