  1. Exquisite Food and Service!
    - November 4, 2016

I was seated in the BLT dining room promptly at 6 pm. Even though the room was half full it wasn’t noisy. There is nothing that I hate worse than a lot of noise when you are trying to have a relaxing meal. We were waited on by Roxanne and a helper whose name escapes me. They gave the perfect amount of service; attentive but not intrusive.

The first things placed on the table were these incredible popovers. How have I gone through my entire life without ever eating a popover? They were light and delicious. Next they brought out some circles of bread with duck liver pate and red wine jelly, compliments of the chef. It was tasty but all my attention was focused on polishing off that popover.

For starters I ordered a Lobster Cobb Salad which was amazing and definitely something I would order again. Next came a porterhouse steak with sides of creamed spinach and brussel sprouts. The steak was cooked perfectly; it had a char on the outside and a juicy pink center. Every mouthful was a joy.
This is a restaurant I would definitely return to in the future.
