Chef Mark LoRusso displays his passion for Mediterranean seafood and Itlaian cuisine at his Costa Di Mare restaurant at Wynn Las Vegas. The menu is authentic Italian coastal cuisine where the emphasis is on freshness and that commitment is displayed in the shellfish and seafood being flown in daily. The pastas are all homemade and are served as appetizers. Fish is the highlight of the menu and a variety of unique choices are roasted whole and sold by weight. Chef LoRusso has put together two Doni di Mare “Gifts from the Mediterranean” Prix Fix menus, a Family Style menu and a Chef’s Tasting menu. The restaurant is elegant with a dramatic curving staircase leading to a fabulous dining room. The outdoor area is romantic and stunning with private cabanas overlooking the lagoon. This is a perfect setting to linger over an amazing meal.

    Had a memorable dinner with great service. Pasta was perfect. Service was excellent with being intrusive. Costly but well worth the price for memorable meal!

    I heard this place has their fresh fish flown in daily. So, for being on a mainland location and not surrounded by water, its not so easy to get really fresh ingredients. This is what this place prides themselves on. If you dont enjoy fish though, I wouldnt neccesarily suggest that you come here since the cost is quite high for your meal. You can spend about $175 per person. I have a hard time spending that kind of money on a place to eat, but I will say, taking out the misses to a fancy joint was nice, and she enjoyed it very much. The service was good as well. We tried the Top chef menu tasting menu. You get a lot with this. There was a lot of rediculously delicious stuff when trying this. I would say to warn those coming here regarding prices because they sell fish according to grams. So you will have to be sure to do your math correct before you wind up stuck with a healthy bill you were not prepared for. Wine alone can cost you over $80 per bottle. Other than that, the seafood was amazing.
