Stop me if you’ve heard this before. “Las Vegas is Disney for adults.” The more Sin City evolves the more true that becomes. Not only does Las Vegas offer different adult fun than other cities but it’s also offering adult fun for the kind of attractions we used to enjoy as children as it tries continues to diversify.
Rock & Rollers is the latest entertainment that adults may not have enjoyed since they were kids. The roller rink is open for all ages and only for adults when the sun goes down. The new venue combines an activity many enjoyed as a kid with an adult-oriented environment that’s perfectly Las Vegas.
Rock & Rollers owner Darren Corsatea says it best. “With skating, music, bowling, beer pong, and great food and drink, if you’re not having fun here, you’re not having fun anywhere.” There’s so much to do, that it shouldn’t be possible to find time to be bored.
Two Levels To Rock
The Rock & Rollers upstairs social space features beer pong, billiards, shuffleboard, and even classic board games like Twister and Candy Land, all in a 21+ environment.
Guests downstairs in the event center can also enjoy roller skating, duckpin bowling, and snacks, beer and wine from the redesigned snack bar. This space allows children until 8 PM.
Rock N Food And Drink
Rock & Rollers is more than just a bar and roller rink. Their kitchen has a menu of elevated small bites and full meals. They offer signature items like Beer Cheese Sliders – three mini versions of Rock & Roller’s mesquite beef patty, topped with bacon, beer cheese, and house-made pickled red onions on pretzel rolls; Devil’s Down South Burger, a signature salute to the Crossroads – a 1/3 pound beef patty topped with pulled pork, applewood smoked bacon, sweet and spicy slaw, and smoky homemade BBQ sauce.
The Rock & Rollers drink program focuses on the perfect rock n roll drink combo – a beer and a shot. The drink menu includes Old Fashioned Beer and a Bulleit, Blue Moon beer backed with an old fashion shot made with Bulleit Rye Whiskey; and Stella and Tom; a pint of Stella backed with a Tom Collins shot.
Rock N Rolling
Rock & Rollers is located off the Vegas Strip inside of Commercial Center at 800 Karen Avenue. The location has an extensive history with rock n roll music. The downstairs skating center is where bands like Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Doors, Led Zepplin, and Santana have performed.
Open skating is offered downstairs on Friday and Saturday (event nights excluded) from 4 PM until 8 PM for all ages. The adult fun times start at 8 PM until midnight when only skaters 21+ are allowed.
Open skating is $10 per guest, with $5 skate rentals.
Free Live Music And More
Rock & Rollers offers free live music Fridays and Saturdays, and open jam on Tuesdays at the upstairs stage. The venue focuses on local bands and homegrown talent. The live music never has a cover change upstairs.
In addition to roller skating, the Sahara Events Center offers Lucha Libre events, live bands on the rink, and skating movie nights. Some of this might cost a few more bucks.
