We’ve been highlighting hotel room renovations taking place off the Vegas Strip. However, these aren’t the only new hotel rooms available in Las Vegas. A wide variety of casino-resorts on the Vegas Strip are upgrading their hotel rooms. Caesars Entertainment might have the most lofty renovation plans. They’re n the middle of a major hotel room renovation that will touch all of their Vegas Strip properties. Sorry, Rio isn’t part of this plan.
If you’ve been to Las Vegas in the past year you might have seen some of the different Caesars Entertainment hotel room renovations. Last year Harrah’s Las Vegas received a noticeable facelift to the casino and hotel rooms.
The renovations are Harrah’s aren’t major renovation but the casino floor has a fresh look to it while still remaining Harrah’s. There’s new carpeting throughout the casino, a new Starbucks near Carnival Court and the sportsbook has a slew of new TV’s and seating. The changes are subtle but noticable if you’ve been to the property before.
Over the past year, Caesars Entertainment has also renovated all 1,622 Valley Tower hotel rooms. The look of this hotel tower is utilizes the purple color scheme that has become synonymous with Harrah’s Las Vegas. These new rooms have a more refined look with clean lines that you might not expect from Harrah’s. The new rooms also feature an upgraded bathroom.
Caesars Palace has renovated a host of rooms in various towers over the past couple of years. Rooms in the Octavius, Julius (formerly Roman), and Augustus towers have all been updated. The Palace Tower is the latest tower to receive an upgrade at the flagship property. Late last year Caesars Entertainment announced that 1,181 hotel rooms and suites have been renovated in the Palace Tower.
While all basic hotel rooms have been updated, the big changes at the Palace Tower take place on the 29th floor. There are 10 new luxury villas featuring high-end finishes and furnishings from around the world. There’s also a special art program specifically for these villas. This appears to be the height of luxury at Caesars Palace.
It feels as though Caesars Entertainment just renovated the majority of their hotel rooms at the Flamingo. However, it’s been more than five years since Caesars Entertainment introduced the Fab rooms. Well, those rooms are slowly receiving an update as Flamingo is currently in the middle of a renovation and upgrade of more than 1,200 hotel rooms.
Unlike the Fab renovations, this is a completely new hotel room and bathroom. The new hotel rooms at the Flamingo use a contemporary, retro design. The artwork and pink accents are what you’d expect to find at the Flamingo in Las Vegas.
…But wait, there’s more!
Caesars Entertainment is also renovating hotel rooms at Bally’s. In addition to the Caesars hotel room renovations, visitors to the Vegas Strip will find new hotel rooms at Cosmopolitan, Luxor, Palazzo, and Monte Carlo as it transitions to Park MGM.
