Most visitors visit Las Vegas and never leave the Vegas Strip. That makes sense because there’s so much to see and do. After a few visits to Las Vegas, some guests begin venturing off the Vegas Strip to see what else Sin City has to offer. While I love the off-strip casinos, they’re not for everyone.

Visitors used to luxury hotels, restaurants, and spas have plenty of options on the Vegas Strip. These visitors can choose from nearly the same number of luxury properties away from the Vegas Strip as they can on the Vegas Strip. One of the luxury casino-resorts off the Vegas Strip recently announced upgrades to its hotel rooms and suites.

Station Casinos started off the new year with an array of wide-ranging room renovations at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa. This is AAA Four Diamond-rated property located in Las Vegas near Red Rock Canyon. Guests will now be able to enjoy the all-new look and feel of the refreshed hotel rooms and enhanced suites.

Red Rock Casino is easily one of the best casino-resorts away from the Vegas Strip. Unlike many off-strip properties, Red Rock Casino has a modern design and that helps draw a unique crowd. The clean line design is as much of an attitude as much as it’s a good looking aesthetic.

Red Rock Casino attracts guests of all ages making it one of the more upbeat casinos away from the Vegas Strip. From the casino to the restaurants and hotel rooms there’s certainly a more upscale vibe at Red Rock than most off-strip casinos in Las Vegas.

For what it’s worth, I’m partial to the modern, clean lines and younger atmosphere at Red Rock Casino. I also live down the street so I visit fairly often. Let’s take a look at the upgrades for 2020.

Red Rock Room Renovations

More than 700 deluxe king and deluxe double queen rooms and 55 Signature Suites at Red Rock Casino are newly renovated for 2020. Each room offers views of the Las Vegas Strip, Red Rock Canyon, or the Sandbar Pool area.

The sun rises from the east (Vegas Strip) and sets in the west (Red Rock Canyon). The Vegas Strip view is nice if you don’t mind the sun waking you in the morning. The rooms looking at Red Rock Canyon have a great view of the sun setting over the mountains. The view is stunning if you plan on being in the room during sunset.

The new hotel rooms and Signature Suites located inside the Red Rock Tower take on a contemporary approach to its established desert modern-inspired décor. Upon entry into the tower, guests will be greeted by a cloud-like chandelier in the corridor. Each chandelier offers reflections and colors resembling the orange and red tones of the desert morning sun.

The common areas feature a rich red carpet and an ivory textural wallcovering. Each large hotel room features a bright and airy ambiance with a loft-like feel. The rooms feature a fresh color palette, sleek lines and polished materials that each pays tribute to the existing surroundings, from the Las Vegas Valley to Red Rock Canyon.

Hotel guests at Red Rock Casino will be able to enjoy the picturesque views from the massive windows. Additionally, guests will be able to experience new amenities such as a 65-inch high definition TV, RFID room key technology, and expanded WIFI coverage. There’s also a pull-out sleeper sofa available in its Signature Suites.
