The Linq hotel, casino, and promenade always seem to be changing. Earlier this year Caesars Entertainment announced a unique attraction coming to The Linq next year called Kind Heaven. You don’t have to wait until 2019 to see something new at The Linq.
New attractions at The Linq casino and promenade include a gaming area, zipline, and a comedy venue. The sportsbook inside the casino has moved and is now called The Book, the new Zipline (Fly Linq) is set to open to the public next week and the newest addition announced for The Linq promenade is Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club.
The new sportsbook at The Linq occupies the space formerly used for TAG Bar. The 150 different beers at the old bar have been replaced with nearly 100 new TV’s and a loungey environment. The main seating areas at The Book are called Fan Caves.
Each Fan Cave has couches for up to 10 people, multiple TV’s, X-Box, waitress service, mobile games, and more. These seats are all reserved but there are approximately 100 more seats and a bar for anyone that just walks up. Additionally, there are 14 self-serve taps for you to pull your own beer whenever you need. This is probably more convenient than waiting for someone to bring you a beer on a busy day.
You can read more about The Book and make reservations at The Linq’s website. Here’s a First Look at The Book with a bunch of pictures from opening night.
Evidently restaurants, casinos, and the world’s largest observation wheel aren’t enough to entertain visitors at The Linq. You can now ride above the revelers milling about the promenade on Fly Linq.
The Fly Linq zipline is the latest attraction opening at The Linq. Similar to the Slotzilla zipline in downtown Las Vegas, you can ride in a seated position or outstretched as if you’re flying like a superhero. The latter option may be more fun but it will cost another $10 per ride.
Prices per ride depending on the time of day and position you choose to ride. You will save a few books on Fly Linq rides if you make reservations online. Visit The Linq’s website for more information and current prices.
Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club
Next spring, Caesars Entertainment will open Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club at The LINQ. The new 300 capacity comedy venue will be across from Brooklyn Bowl. The club will be open seven nights a week, with a bar open daily and shows offered nightly.
“Building a club like this in my hometown is a dream come true” said Kimmel, who grew up in Las Vegas. “I’ve done extensive research, consulting with veteran comics to create the ideal venue for comedians and comedy lovers. My aim is to capture the spirit of classic Vegas with late night shows, surprise guests, live music, memorabilia from my career and food that will rival the finest restaurants in town. Every comic who plays this club will get first-class treatment. I am obsessing over every detail to make this the most comedy-friendly club in the world.”
