Last summer we gave you a heads up that the Flamingo was renovating and upgrading some of their hotel rooms. The initial renovation of 1,270 hotel rooms must have been popular with guests. Another batch of hotel room renovations was added and continued through the end of the year.
The newest phase of hotel room renovations at the Flamingo adds another 976 new hotel rooms. The completion of this phase means that two-thirds of the hotel rooms at the Flamingo will be new or will have been remodeled in the past two years. These hotel room renovations were much needed.
New Bunk Bed Rooms And Suites
Included in the latest room renovations are 14 new Bunk Bed Rooms. This small batch of rooms includes one of the largest dedicated Bunk Bed Suites in any hotel in the US. The Flamingo has more than 3,600 rooms. Much like the pet-friendly rooms at the hotel, you can ask to stay away from the Bunk Bed Rooms and suites if you’re concerned about noise.
The Bunk Bed Suites are perfect for entertaining large families or groups with nearly 1,000 square feet of space. The Bunk Bed Suites at Flamingo have a 430-square-foot bedroom with two queen beds. Each queen bed is equipped with its own overhead full-size bunk. The sleeping space is connected to a 550-square-foot parlor that includes a living area with oversized lounge furniture and a full kitchenette with a refrigerator.
The new 515-square-foot Bunk Bed Rooms are larger than the 350-square-foot basic new rooms at the Flamingo. In fact, all of the room categories at the Flamingo start at 350 square feet. The Bunk Bed Rooms are similar to the Suites but lack the extra parlor space.
The rooms can accommodate a group of friends or the whole family with two queen beds. Again, each bed is equipped with its own overhead full-size bunk. This would make a good option for golf trips, March Madness, or bachelor/bachelorette parties.
The upgraded Bunk Bed Rooms feature modern décor paired with sleek furnishings in a spacious living area that you’ll find in the other new Flamingo rooms. These rooms include a 55-inch HDTV, a separate wet vanity area, bedside USB ports and a similar rain shower that you’ll find in other Caesars Entertainment hotel bathrooms.
Different Rooms At The Flamingo
The new rooms at Flamingo are a massive upgrade from the entry-level FAB rooms. They might even be a bit nicer than the GO rooms. The latter has been one of my favorite affordable room options from Caesars Entertainment.
The Flamingo tends to be a bit too crowded for me so I haven’t I haven’t stayed at the hotel in a while. If you’re choosing between Caesars Entertainment hotels, the new room renovations appear to be similar to newer hotel rooms at Planet Hollywood and Harrah’s.
Rates start at $115 per night for the Bunk Bed Rooms at the Flamingo. The Bunk Bed Suites are only available by phone (855-855-9205) and prices start at $310 per night.
