Independence Day around the United States is July 4th. Depending on where you live Independence Day may or may not be celebrated on that day. Las Vegas doesn’t have time to wait around to celebrate most holidays. This year the Independence Day celebrations in Las Vegas take place before July!

Independence Day celebrations in Las Vegas start as early as June 30th. Hears a look at casinos around Las Vegas where that you can find 4th of July fireworks celebrations in Las Vegas this year.

Vegas Strip

Caesars Palace
Move people who travel to Vegas start at the Vegas Strip and so will our list of casinos hosting fireworks shows. The largest fireworks show on the Vegas Strip this year will emanate from Caesars Palace on Saturday, June 30. Fireworks will be set off from the top of the Julius Tower at approximately 9:15 p.m. sharp. The fireworks show should begin at 9:15 but they were a little late last year and might be again this year. It’s better safe than sorry and arrive early if you want to catch the fireworks over Caesars Palace that last about 13 minutes.

Sidewalk space tends to fill up early to watch this free show so you should arrive early to stake out a good place to watch. You can make reservations at some bars, restaurants, and the High Roller observation wheel if you really want a good vantage point. Of course, you’ll have to pay for those. Watching from the sidewalk on the Vegas Strip is free.

Mandalay Bay
After skipping a year, the Mandalay Bay is bringing back their July 4th concert and fireworks show. Unlike the Caesars Palace fireworks show, this actually takes place on July 4th. You’ll be able to see the fireworks around the south end of the Vegas Strip but the best vantage point is Mandalay Beach where the Mystic Roots concert takes place. Tickets are approximately $20 plus fees for the concert.

Downtown Las Vegas

Plaza
The Plaza celebrates Independence Day on June 30th with Pool Party and fireworks show. The party at the pool starts at 7 pm and the fireworks show at the Plaza begins at 10:45 pm. Since many of the casinos in downtown Las Vegas are located under the Fremont Street Experience canopy you might want to head up to the pool party for the best view. This is a quick four-minute fireworks show so make sure you’re on time.

Stratosphere
Stratosphere will offer Fourth of July perks for locals, available exclusively on Wednesday, July 4. Visible throughout the Las Vegas Valley, the fireworks display will begin at 9:15 p.m. A viewing party will be held at Elation rooftop pool offering guests an up-close experience to the fireworks, with doors opening at 8 p.m. Earlier in the day, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., locals with Nevada ID will receive free observation tower admission, a $25 per person value, and buy-one-get-one free admission to Crafted Buffet.

Around Las Vegas

Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch, Texas Station, Fiesta Rancho
Station Casinos will have fireworks shows at four different casinos at 9 pm on July 4. The “July 4th Fireworks Blast” will be a nine-minute show presented by the Grucci Family. The Station Casinos blog is constantly updating their blog with times and ways you can reserve the best fireworks viewing at each casino. These fireworks shows can usually be easily watched anywhere close to the properties if you miss out on the viewing options at the casinos.
