Viva Las Vegas!
The Ice Rink at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will return for its ninth year in a row. The rink opens to the public on Wednesday, November 18. Once again, the Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan will transform into a rooftop winter wonderland. If you’re not familiar with the outdoor attraction it features a 4,200-square-foot skating rink made of real ice overlooking the Vegas Strip.
The Cosmopolitan also offers seasonal culinary cocktails, food, and firepits to roast marshmallows and make s’mores. This year, the Cosmopolitan will also show classic holiday films projected on the resort’s 65-foot marquee.

Cosmopolitan Ice Rink Health and Safety
As you’d imagine, enjoying the Ice Rink at the Cosmopolitan will be a little different this year. All visitors to the Ice Rink are required to wear a mask at all times unless eating or drinking while seated. This is the same policy as the casino so it shouldn’t be too different for anyone visiting Las Vegas right now.
Additionally, social distancing and reduced capacity will be enforced. The maximum skating rink occupancy is 60 guests at a time. This will be a change and it could impact the experience – especially on weekends when Las Vegas is still pretty busy. The ice rink may get crowded and the capacity limit could cause delays.
