Keeping up with Las Vegas shows can be exhausting. That’s not entirely a bad thing. Shows are extended, closed, announced and taking place every week. There’s always something going on in Las Vegas. That’s just a small part of what makes Las Vegas such a special place to visit.
Raiding The Rock Vault is one of the most popular shows in Las Vegas and is approaching its 1,000 performance. The classic rock tribute show is currently at the Hard Rock. This is one of the many which has opened, closed, been extended and changed locations over its life. Despite the venue changes, the popularity of the show has never been in doubt and is now appropriately taking place at the Hard Rock.
The show will celebrate its 1,000th performance from November 25 through November 29. The week-long celebration will feature encores for the first time, a grand prize giveaway and special performances by past and present band members.
You can vote online for the first in a lifetime encore songs. Choose from “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC, “God Gave Rock & Roll to You” by Kiss, “Live and Let Die” by Paul McCartney, “Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” by U2 and more. Once the fans have voted, they will be placed into a contest for a chance to win the grand prize. The big prize includes a one-night stay at Hard Rock, dinner for two at a resort restaurant and two Rock Star VIP passes to Raiding The Rock Vault.
Two runners-up will win two VIP tickets to the show. If you are unable to travel to Las Vegas for the show you will win a package of merchandise. Voting is open now through Thursday, October 26 here.
The show’s all-star lineup will include Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Howard Leese [Guitar] (Heart), Dave Amato [Guitar] (REO Speedwagon), Hugh McDonald [Bass] (Bon Jovi), Jay Schellen [Drums] (Asia, Yes), Michael T. Ross [Keyboards] (Lita Ford, Hardline), Andrew Freeman [Lead Vocals and Guitars] (The Offspring, Last in Line, Lynchmob), Robin McAuley [Lead Vocals] (MSG, Survivor), Paul Shortino [Lead Vocals] (Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot), Mark Boals [Lead Vocals] (Dokken, Yngwie J.
