The casino floor and most venues at Circa Resort & Casino will open for the first time on October 28. The hotel will open a couple of months later in December. Just about everything will be available for visitors except the hotel rooms when the first casino-resort built from the ground up in downtown Las Vegas since 1980 is ready for the public.
Anyone interested in building up comps to use at Circa might want to stay at one of its sister Club One properties. The D Las Vegas is a few blocks east on Fremont Street. Golden Gate casino and hotel is across the street from Circa Las Vegas. The Golden Gate hotel opened in 1906. The rooms have been updated but they’re small and modest compared to rooms at The D.
We’ve been keeping a keen eye on Circa Resort & Casino’s plans since it was first announced last year. Most recently, we shared details on what will be the best adult pool in downtown Las Vegas. Circa and its pool, Circa Swim, will be open only for guests 21 years and older.

Circa Bars and Lounges

This week we have news about another adult amenity at Circa Resort & Casino. The property will have an “eclectic beverage program” that includes five original bar and lounge concepts as well as a coffee shop. The venues inside of Circa will seek to embody Downtown Las Vegas and honor the city’s most iconic eras. The bars, lounges, and coffee shop at Circa are:

  • Legacy Club: A luxe rooftop lounge celebrating Vegas’ founding fathers with incredible panoramic city views (NOTE: This opens in December)
  • Vegas Vickie’s: An elevated cocktail lounge in Circa’s lobby starring the famed neon cowgirl, Vegas Vickie
  • MEGA BAR: A 165-foot-long bar on Circa’s first floor, claiming the title of Nevada’s longest indoor bar and home to Downtown’s famous flair bartenders
  • Overhang Bar: A sports bar overlooking the world’s largest sportsbook with prime views of its three-story, 78-million-pixel screen
  • Circa Bar: High-energy bar taking that will be the longest outdoor bar on Fremont Street Experience
  • Jack Pots: A coffee stand created by legendary Detroit restaurateur Paul Saginaw

Okay, Jack Pots might be the best name for a coffee shop inside of a casino! JACK POTS! Like…Winning Jackpots! I look forward to sitting in the nook and working there someday.
“Circa was designed to bring our guests an atmosphere of unbridled energy, and you’ll see that heavily reflected in our beverage program,” said Derek Stevens, CEO and Founder of Circa. “No two concepts are alike, but the one thing that will tie every venue together is fun. The best sunset view in Las Vegas will be at Legacy Club’s fire pits overlooking the city, hands down.”

Closer Look At Circa’s Bars and Lounges

Let’s take a closer look at the bars and lounges at Circa Resort & Casino starting with the bar outside at the Fremont Street Experience.

Circa Bar

Circa Bar is located outside of the casino on the Fremont Street Experience. This bar will be similar to the outdoor bars at The D and Golden Gate casinos. Circa Bar will have 24 frozen cocktail flavors served by dancing bartenders and flair bartenders.

Vegas Vickie’s

Circa’s elevated lobby cocktail lounge will surround the neon Vegas Vickie sign. Yes, Circa Resort & Casino now owns the iconic neon kicking cowgirl sign that first appeared in downtown Las Vegas in 1980. The sign became a must-see landmark on the Fremont Street Experience. Vegas Vickie’s menu will have a seasonal selection of cocktails, featuring vintage libations inspired by the city.

MEGA BAR (yes, all caps)

The D has Longbar and Circa has an even longer bar called MEGA BAR. The plan for this bar sounds very similar to Longbar but…longer. MEGA Bar will be located on the first floor of Circa. Similar to Longbar, this will be a high-energy bar that will give guests a chance to watch flair bartenders.
MEGA BAR will be Nevada’s longest indoor bar spanning 165 feet, dwarfing the adorable 100-foot Longbar at The D. This bar will have 53 spaces for seated, bar-top gaming, 40 double-stacked TVs for sports fans, and 120 beer taps with a rotating selection.

Overhang Bar

I’ll probably spend more time at this bar than any other at Circa. Overhang Bar sits above Circa’s multi-level sportsbook. This bar will offer a front-row seat for the massive 78-million pixel video screen. Yeah, I love sports, sports betting, and enjoying a drink during both.

Legacy Club (Opens in December)

While I might spend more time at Overhang Bar, this is the lounge I’m most looking forward to at Circa. The Legacy Club is a classic lounge inspired by Las Vegas’ founding fathers. The lounge on the 35th floor of the hotel will overlook Las Vegas and deliver an elegant rooftop club lounge with a panoramic view of the Downtown skyline.
Metal busts will line the hall at the Legacy Club, while spirited black and white photos frame the entrance. This will lead guests to the club’s show-stopping attraction: a 10-foot display of 1,000 ounces in gold. Everything about this sounds great.
