We’re going to go inside the job today. Every week I receive updated Las Vegas show listings from different casinos. If I write about shows it’s usually because there’s something new or an interesting theme.
For some reason, all of the shows at Caesars Entertainment properties stood out this week. Not only are there a lot of shows but there’s a wide variety in the types of shows. This should help if you’re looking for some ideas on things to do on your next visit to Las Vegas.


Masters of Illusion
Masters of Illusion, the hit CW television series and America’s largest touring magic show, is a thrilling live stage show in the Jubilee Theater at Bally’s Las Vegas. Starring the world’s greatest award-winning magicians, this 21st-century magic show is unlike anything audiences have seen before.

Wayne Newton: Up Close and Personal
Las Vegas actor, singer, entertainer legend, Mr. Las Vegas, Wayne Newton made his return to the stage after more than five years with his original production, “Wayne Newton: Up Close and Personal.” Newton sings crowd favorites including platinum record hit, “Danke Schoen,” as well as engages with the audience by answering questions, making for a truly extraordinary experience.

Paranormal – The Mindreading Magic Show. Las Vegas
International mentalist Frederic Da Silva brings his renowned show to Bally’s Las Vegas. Experience an evening of mystery, magic, and mind reading that will leave you astonished and amazed.
Showtimes: Friday – Tuesday, 4 p.m. There will be additional 4 p.m. performances July 4 – 5 and Dec. 26 – 27.

The Bronx Wanderers
The Bronx Wanderers take you on a journey of the greatest music of our time. The story is about a family that delivers a passionate heart-pumping mix of Rock N’ Roll’s great American Songbook from the first generation right through today’s current hit-makers. Buckle your seatbelts!

Solid Gold Soul
Solid Gold Soul features Motown’s greatest soul music from the 60‘s. The show’s star lineup has the best impersonators in the world! This fast-moving locomotive takes you down memory lane for a trip back to the best soul music of the ‘60s, the golden era of Motown.

Take a hilarious journey into Sin City through the comedic genius of Carl LaBove as he dismantles the experience of Las Vegas one story-at-a-time. LaBove sets his twisted sites on the “City of Lights” and nails it to-the-wall with side-splitting accuracy.

The Miss Behave Gameshow
Grab onto your golden, sequined coattails and hold tight because the wonderfully chaotic world of The Miss Behave Gameshow, the greatest night out you never even knew you wanted, has arrived on the Las Vegas Strip. Changing lives one game at a time in a show with no rules and where everyone’s a winner, The Miss Behave Gameshow is a one-stop-shop of an evening which will bring out the best and worst in us all with a host of prizes and variety acts – both occasionally of questionable quality – thrown in for good measure

Caesars Palace

ABSINTHE at Caesars Palace is one-part vivid imagination, two parts carnival and a shot of old world burlesque mixed with a heavy dash of decadence. Audiences are treated to a night of imagination and excess with performances that amaze and inspire. The cast of eccentrics evokes thrills and chills as they perform amazing feats of virtuosity within mere feet of the audience surrounding the intimate stage.
Showtimes: Wednesday – Sunday, 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Beginning May 14, performances will be nightly at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Elton John “The Million Dollar Piano”
World-renowned singer, songwriter, and performer, Elton John returns to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace with his critically acclaimed show, “The Million Dollar Piano.” Elton is accompanied by his band, which includes Davey Johnstone on guitar, Matt Bissonette on bass, John Mahon on percussion, Nigel Olsson on drums and Kim Bullard on keyboards, with a special appearance by percussionist Ray Cooper.

Céline, one of the most immediately recognized, widely respected and successful performers in pop music history, has sold almost 250 million records during her over her 30-year career. Céline’s updated Las Vegas show includes her biggest hits mixed with timeless hits by iconic artists that celebrate all generations and genres of music ranging from Elvis to the Bee Gees, Queen, and Prince. The show features a full orchestra and band and is set to a visually stunning presentation designed exclusively for the 4,300-seat state-of-the-art venue.

Jim Gaffigan – The Fixer Upper Tour
Jim Gaffigan, three-time Grammy-nominated comedian, actor, writer, producer and best-selling author, will return to Las Vegas as part of The Fixer Upper tour. The arena and theater comedy tour will make a much anticipated two-night stop at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
Showtimes: May 27 and July 20, 8 p.m.
Rod Stewart: The Hits
Rod Stewart: The Hits. is a concert celebration featuring a set list of the rock and R&B favorites which have defined Stewart’s unparalleled five-decade-long career. The spectacular, state-of-the-art production is a culmination of Stewart’s seminal hits like “Maggie May,” “You Wear it Well,” “Hot Legs,” “You’re in My Heart” and “Some Guys Have All the Luck” mixed with a few surprise rarities and sizzling covers.

Jeff Dunham: Passively Aggressive

Steve Martin & Martin Short: “An Evening You Will Forget For The Rest Of Your Life featuring the Steep Canyon Rangers and Jeff Babko”
Steve Martin and Martin Short return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for another night of their hilarious “An Evening You Will Forget For The Rest Of Your Life featuring the Steep Canyon Rangers and Jeff Babko.” Audiences can expect an evening of nonstop laughs as the hilarious duo recall their iconic careers, creative influences and most memorable encounters, uniquely presented through a blend of conversation, banter, singing, and banjo playing.

REBA, BROOKS & DUNN: Together in Vegas
REBA, BROOKS & DUNN: Together in Vegas is a culmination of the friendship and musical admiration Reba McEntire, Brooks & Dunn have shared since first touring together in 1993. The two-hour production features more than 30 action-packed hits backed by a band of 10 players from both of their touring bands.

Luis Miguel, one of the most successful artists in Latin American history, has announced a return to Las Vegas in celebration of Mexican Independence Day Weekend with two performances at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Enrique Iglesias
In celebration of Mexican Independence Day weekend, Latin superstar Enrique Iglesias will play The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Enrique Iglesias has sold more than 150 million albums worldwide, released ten studio albums plus two greatest hits compilations, and is a multiplatinum artist in almost every country around the world. Undeniably the biggest Latin recording artist in music history, Enrique has 31 #1 singles on the Billboard Latin Songs Chart and multiple #1’s across all the Billboard charts with a combined total of 105.

AC²: An Intimate Evening With Anderson Cooper & Andy Cohen – “Deep Talk and Shallow Tales”

It’s a live, interactive look behind the scenes of pop culture and world events.

Legends in Concert
Featuring live re-creations of superstars of yesterday and today, backed by a live rockin’ band and the Legends singers and dancers, Legends in Concert is a one-of-a-kind experience. The show features such gone-but-not-forgotten greats as Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Liberace, Marilyn Monroe and Sammy Davis Jr. as well as living superstars of the day such as Rod Stewart, Elton John, Steven Tyler, Stevie Wonder, Whoopi Goldberg, Cher, Madonna, and Britney Spears, among others.
The current lineup features Elvis Presley, young Michael Jackson, Sting and Aretha Franklin.

The steamiest show on the Strip, X Burlesque showcases a variety of performances by six gorgeous dancers set to music by today’s hottest artists. Big Elvis
Big Elvis performs all the hits of the King of Rock & Roll, as well as other popular tunes in the genres of rock, country, gospel, R&B and pops spanning six decades of music. Menopause The Musical

The Comedy Lineup
Tom Green and John Caparulo have the right to remain funny when The Comedy Lineup debuts in the Harrah’s Showroom at Harrah’s Las Vegas on May 6, 2018. Celebrated for his uncensored rants on everything from politics and the economy to the pitfalls of social media and technology, Tom Green’s sharp wit and “anything goes” attitude channel a hysterical blend of wild child Sam Kinison and the cynical George Carlin. Known as the “under-dressed everyman,” John “Cap” Caparulo is known for his impeccable comedic timing. Cap presents a sarcastic and often self-deprecating view on such topics as fatherhood and marriage, and a quick-witted approach to reflections on daily life.

Tape Face
Although his show contains no dialogue, Tape Face’s return to Sin City will be louder than ever. In conjunction with his new show, Harrah’s Las Vegas will premiere a uniquely customized theater for Tape Face’s return called “House of Tape.” The America’s Got Talent sensation does not speak at all in his show and his message of being true to self can be heard clearly through his amusing routines using sounds, music, and laughter.

Crazy Girls
Crazy Girls, ultra-sexy show, has entertained millions of audience members for more than 28 years as a permanent fixture on the Las Vegas Strip. Las Vegas’ most sizzling topless show still pushes the envelope night after night. Routines range from topless contemporary boot-stomping pole dance numbers to bawdy, burlesque classics.

Xavier Mortimer’s Magical Dream
After gracing stages in more than 30 countries and most recently starring in Cirque du Soleil’s acclaimed show MJ One, Mortimer marks the first Cirque performer to launch a headlining residency on the Las Vegas Strip.

Penn & Teller
Edgy, provocative and hilarious, Penn & Teller’s live show on any given night can involve knives, guns, a fire-eating showgirl and a duck. Known as the “Bad Boys of Magic” for supposedly revealing the secrets to their tricks, they may show you how it’s done, but will still manage to leave you startled.

Beginning, May 11, shows will be nightly, 8:30 p.m. with additional performances Friday and Saturday at 10:30 p.m.
WOW – World of Wonder
“WOW” is a water entertainment spectacular that transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary. The Comedy Cellar
After 36 years of selling out every show, the Comedy Cellar opens its first West Coast location at Rio. As the most successful and longest-running comedy club in New York City history, the Cellar has been hailed by the toughest and meanest critics in the world, including the New York Times, who said the club has “a billion dollars’ worth of comedians.”
Showtimes: Thursday – Friday and Sunday, 7 and 9 p.m.; Saturday, 7, 9 and 11 p.m. Headliner performances will be select Wednesdays, 7 and 9 p.m.
